First Response Trauma Solutions, PLLC
Last year (2018), the Arizona State Senate passed House Bill 2502 (HB-2502) into legislation officially requiring State Municipalities to provide ALL public safety employees a minimum of 12 psychotherapeutic intervention hours following exposure to traumatic stress. The passing of this Bill into law has ensured that our great State’s first responders will have access to much needed mental health care that is paid for by their municipality.
Dr. Robyn Hall was contacted by Arizona Management Risk Retention Pool (AMRRP) to develop a program that would help rural departments comply with the mandates of this new legislation. (For a copy of the AMRRP brochure please see: https://www.amrrp.org/Resources/Pages/PTSD.aspx)
Dr. Hall and her Post-Doctoral Resident, Dr. Megan Ford, have been traveling to Arizona’s rural municipalities since August 23 2019 and have had the pleasure of working with both Fire and Police Departments. We are so honored to be at the ground floor with development of this program. Currently, Dr. Hall and Dr. Ford are working on a website specifically for First Response Trauma Solutions. While that is under construction please feel free to check out our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/firstresponsetrauma/
